miHoYo Exits Shanghai Lingweiyisi, Ending Its Brain-Computer Interface Investment

On October 21, miHoYo exited the shareholder ranks of Shanghai Lingweiyisi Technology through its subsidiary Argo Technology, ending its brain-computer interface investment. Lingweiyisi is 51% held and controlled by Lü Baoliang, Cai Haoyu's master's advisor, with miHoYo previously holding 49%; the company continues to operate and has taken on a new shareholder. The exit does not mean miHoYo is abandoning the brain-computer interface field, but rather pulling resources back toward its core game business.
