Star Wars Zero Company estimated to pass 1m sales as questions turn to its furloughed dev team

Analyst firm Alinea Analytics estimates that Star Wars Zero Company, the turn-based tactics game from Bit Reactor, has sold more than 1m copies. Steam accounts for 69.9 percent of sales, PlayStation 19.9 percent and Xbox 10.2 percent, with analyst Rhys Elliott estimating about $50m in revenue since its 27th August launch. Most of Bit Reactor's development team had reportedly been furloughed without pay before release amid an owners' dispute and a lack of funds, raising the question of whether they will be reinstated and paid from the game's revenue.
