BG3 Owes Everything to One Underrated 2009 BioWare RPG

Baldur's Gate 3's companion design traces back to an underrated 2009 BioWare RPG and its sardonic elven rogue. How well you take his jokes decides how much of the person beneath he reveals, and whether he ever stops treating charm as armor.
