Toei Animation Tried to Cancel Its Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime, So Weekly Shonen Jump Threatened to Pull Its Dragon Ball License

Production planner Yoshiro Kataoka recalled that Toei Animation cancelled its 27-episode 1998 Yu-Gi-Oh! anime but refused to return the adaptation rights. Duel Monsters.
