ArenaNet is dropping separately sold paid Living World content in Guild Wars 2 and bundling it with expansions instead. Eurogamer reports the change addresses a long-running issue with how the game's content is delivered.

ArenaNet announced that Guild Wars 2's Living World seasonal content will no longer be sold separately and will instead come bundled with expansions. Heart of Thorns includes season two, Path of Fire covers seasons three and four, and End of Dragons includes the final season, while the base game includes season one, with missing episodes added automatically to eligible accounts. Players who bought Living World DLC after 12th September will receive gems as compensation.
