The developers of the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake explained in an Ask the Developer interview why Link's tunic is so detailed: as a child of the forest, his clothes should look hand-woven rather than machine-made. Art director Aya Shida said the team studied materials in museums and experimented with weaving their own fabric to capture that texture. The remake launches on Switch 2 on November 5.
