Destiny 1 PC port project Project Golden Age seemingly gets a nod from Bungie boss

A fan modding effort dubbed Project Golden Age is working to bring the original Destiny to PC, and YouTuber Flummoxed has shown footage of Destiny 1 running at 4K and well over 60fps. Bungie studio head of product and Marathon general manager Josh Deane commented on the footage on X with a joking remark. The project rebuilds the game from client and server requests and responses, and its GitLab page mentions use of generative AI, though it still has physics and rendering issues.

A Reddit user claims footage has surfaced of GTA 6 running at native 4K, citing sources such as Digital Foundry that earlier footage was 1440p upscaled to 4K via TAA. The post also claims the leak confirms a PC build and a file size of over 200GB, though none of this has been verified.

Modder finds cheat codes to unlock F-Zero GX's five golden cars

Japanese modder BTEST4HE found that F-Zero GX's five golden cars were always unlockable through cheat codes, though they require four players to input simultaneously with a 10-frame window. The cars were previously given out only at Japanese events, and players have confirmed the codes work on all versions, including the Switch 2 GameCube library. The five cars are Thunderstorm, El Dorado, Chrono Symphony, Bahamut and Gladiator, with CGN estimating only 256 people obtained El Dorado through official channels.

Cyberleek posts new poll and threatens to release full story mode footage

Cyberleek shared two announcements and a new poll, saying the full story mode build will be released once his meme coin reaches a 30 million market cap, played to the end with credits. Japanese player BTEST4HE has discovered eight hidden cheat codes in F-Zero GX that unlock specific parts purchasable in the in-game shop, including the long-sought "Gold Parts." The codes work on the GameCube, Wii, and Nintendo Classics versions on Switch 2, but five of them require inputting commands with four controllers simultaneously.

Why GTA VI's latest leaks show signs of being development footage

The latest GTA VI leaks show several signs of coming from a development build, including NPCs not reacting to a fully naked Jason, a tank spawning out of nowhere, missing textures and broken animations, and a HUD without controller button prompts. The latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ trailers have left players confused about whether a PvE-only mode exists. Episode seven of From the Ward showed a "Single Squad Mission" option with no on-screen description, but the DMZ Dynamic Ops trailer released a day later omitted it. DMZ launches with Modern Warfare 4 on 23rd October for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch 2.
