    Hibernian Workshop has released a free Astral Ascent update in collaboration with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, adding the latter's main cast and bosses such as Mimes and Petank.     Trainwatch Launches March 10, 2027

    Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Harvester Games announced that the time management mystery adventure game Trainwatch will launch for PC via Steam on March 10, 2027. Players work as a gatekeeper managing the train timetable, gates, hunger, sleep, and hygiene while unlocking new skills. Solo developer Rem Michalski said it may be his most mechanics-heavy game, but its psychological horror core remains.

    Norsfell announces top-down survival action RPG Aftergods for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

    Tribes of Midgard developer Norsfell announced Aftergods, a top-down survival action RPG coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with no release date given. Set in a post-Ragnarok open world, it has players wield divine power as the Godborn from Greek, Egyptian, and Norse pantheons, playable solo or in co-op. Norsfell says it builds on the core pillars of Tribes of Midgard, which sold five million units.

    Risk of Rain 2 DLC 'Hallowed Concepts' now available

    2K and developer Gearbox Software announced that the Risk of Rain 2 DLC 'Hallowed Concepts' is now available on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The expansion adds two playable survivors, Acolyte and Enforcer, plus the timed Trials of N'kuhana split into Survival, Predation, and Mortality types that share a single timer. It also includes new stages, bosses, enemies, item types, and music.

    DAVE THE DIVER announces final DLC 'Subnautica 2 Content Pack', free in early 2027

    MINTROCKET announced 'Subnautica 2 Content Pack', the final DLC for DAVE THE DIVER, made in partnership with Unknown Worlds Entertainment and launching free in early 2027.     Forza Horizon 6 launches on PS5 January 26, 2027 alongside its first expansion

    Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games announced that Forza Horizon 6 will come to PS5 on January 26, 2027, the same day as the game's first expansion, in both physical and digital versions. Premium Edition pre-orders get early access on January 21. The game previously launched for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on May 19, and is also available via Game Pass.

    The first Forza Horizon 6 footage running on PS5 has been released in a 30-second pre-order spot, confirming the game arrives on Sony's console on 26th January.     Lazare's Sacrifice is a narrative deckbuilder set during the French Revolution, made in collaboration with Gwent lead designer Damien Monnier and published by Curve Games. Players control the real historical figure Lazare Hoche, sacrificing cards, board slots, or health to strengthen their plays while trying to escape Carmes Prison and avoid the guillotine. It is set to release in Spring 2027.

The El Paso, Elsewhere developer rebuilt the existing work through its Project Share initiative, which encourages studios to share original code. The game follows disgraced police officer Harrow McClellan in the dystopian city of Scarhelm and is set to launch on PC in 2027.

    Best Buy plans a midnight launch for the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2

    Best Buy announced a midnight launch event for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2, and people who already preordered can switch to in-store pickup at midnight on November 5.     D3 Publisher announced Girls und Panzer: All-Star Tank Carnival, a tank battle action game from the team behind Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match, due out in 2027 in Japan for Switch 2. It supports online real-time tank battles with up to 10 players, and lets players explore Oarai in a Panzer IV and talk to characters to trigger original story quests. The Steam page says players complete tasks and gather clues while proving their innocence.

Each run starts with a single tile and expands as players fight alien hordes, gather experience, and level up, with new tiles offering weapons, upgrades, healing, tools, defenses, and risky synergies.
