ArchiusDev has unveiled Mancalero, a turn-based strategy board game marble builder inspired by Mancala and Balatro, where players sow marbles, build a collection of special marbles, use custom boards, and defeat rule-changing bosses for higher scores. The v1.02 update to the Demo is out for Windows, macOS, and Linux with controller and SteamDeck support, and the full release is set for November alongside a NextFest appearance.
At a retrospective panel at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, EA producer Jim Vessella announced a 30th anniversary remaster of Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger. He said master tapes from the game's production have been unearthed and that the remaster will clean up video compression, run at 60FPS, add post-release community enhancements, and include "the Kilrathi Saga," suggesting all three of the initial trilogy. The game's live action sequences feature performances from Mark Hamill, Malcolm McDowell, Tim Curry and others.

Zymartu Games has released a major update to the Fields of Aaru demo for Steam Next Fest, adding digging and irrigation that let players dig channels, reshape farmland and repair a water wheel and shaduf. Solo dev tkayyy's creature card battler The Cup now has a free demo live on Steam. Each side fields three real North American animals plus a few cryptids, with every card printing its own odds, such as the armadillo always hitting for 2 and the eagle rolling a d12 that misses on 1 through 5 but hits every enemy at once on a 12, all called by two hosts for an alien TV audience. The demo includes the tutorial, THE ROAD (five bouts against invasive species) and matches against the House, while the full game arrives November 10 with Steam multiplayer.

Arc System Works revealed the Year 1 DLC roster for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, featuring Phoenix Cyclops, Thor (Jane Foster), Venom and Jubilee. Phoenix Cyclops arrives first on 2nd November with Classic and Legacy costumes the same day, followed by Thor (Jane Foster) in winter 2027, Venom and a Klyntar stage in spring 2027, and Jubilee expected in summer 2027. The characters and stage form the Year One Characters & Stage Pass and can also be bought individually; the game is out now on PS5 and PC.

AskaLot Games has revealed Deserter, an immersive isometric stealth RPG about a thief surviving in a decaying totalitarian city. Players break into houses to steal food and medicine, with over 100 skills and talents and a security system that tightens as the city remembers every heist. A demo is available on its Steam page.
Publisher Secret Mode announced on 8th October that Escape the Backrooms will add three new levels this December in a party-themed update called the After Party. The update also brings new skins, with free and paid cosmetics arriving in October. Bandai Namco announced a global version of the MoreFun Studios-developed fighting game Naruto Mobile for iOS and Android, with no release date set. The game first launched in China on May 19, 2016, so the global release comes more than 10 years after its debut. The localization is part of Project Rasengan, a three-year plan for new Naruto media from 2027 to 2029 that also includes the Naruto x Ninku anime limited series, the Naruto Card Game trading card game, and the Naruto: Shadow Rising manga.

South Korean indie team NEUTWORK is developing PARALLAX: AXIS, a spatial puzzle game where the route you find through three-dimensional space changes the music's rhythm, pitch, and resonance. A free six-puzzle version is playable in browsers now, with each completed puzzle revealing part of a poem and all six assembling a constellation that grants one of 18 instrument types based on how you found your way. The full Steam version is in development with 150 puzzles.
Solo developer Angel Shift Games has released its first published demo on Steam for Devour Protocol, a reverse tower defense where you invade a stronghold instead of defending one. The trailer also gave the first look at the previously announced Baki the Grappler crossover, with Yujiro joining in the winter and more to be shown at the Tekken World Tour Finals on 17th January. Season 3 has already featured Kunimitsu and Bob.
