Ubisoft Boss Says Watch Dogs Is 'Important' to Company's Future, But Don't Expect Any New Entries Anytime Soon

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told an investor that the company considers the Watch Dogs IP "to be an important brand for the future," but according to Game File's Stephen Totilo, he suggested no Watch Dogs games are in active development. The series debuted in 2014, and its most recent entry, Watch Dogs: Legion, launched in 2020 to a mixed reception. A Watch Dogs movie has wrapped production but still has no release date.
