Stop trying to make a console war out of which WoW is better, you're all exhausting

The World of Warcraft: Forever beta has recaptured the essence of oldschool MMOs for the author, but he rejects turning Retail, Classic, and Forever into warring factions. He argues Retail WoW's design isn't inherently bad, just different, and that Forever itself shows the versions can learn from each other. Building an identity out of which version you play and attacking others over it is exhausting and unhealthy.
