Phantom Blade Zero Is Sharp Enough on the Steam Machine, if Blunted on the Steam Deck

Phantom Blade Zero runs at 45-60fps on Valve's Steam Machine with the Medium preset and FSR on Quality, while the High preset is playable despite occasional sub-40fps dips. On the Steam Deck OLED, even the Low preset with Ultra Performance upscaling can't hold a steady 30fps, with framerate drops into the teens. A common Steam Controller bug left the map button unresponsive, fixable by remapping the Select button in SteamOS controller settings.
