Cygames launches small-games label CygamesEdge, aiming for two to three titles a year

Cygames announced last month a new label, CygamesEdge, focused on smaller original titles, with its first game Where the Seeds Fall due next month. The head of the division, Hamada Shouichiro, told Japanese media he hopes to release two or three titles of the same scale within a year and to ship each game within three years of starting development. He cited diversifying player expectations and shorter play sessions, with Where the Seeds Fall marketed on its roughly three-hour length.
