Halo Studios says "it is absolutely our intent" to release new Halo book, despite layoffs and a rumored lore reboot from Activision

Halo Studios writer Alex Wakeford said it is "absolutely our intent" to finish Troy Denning's Halo: Fireteam Noble and Kenneth Peters' Halo: Burn the Road Home novella, despite mass layoffs and the series moving under Activision's supervision. Fireteam Noble was previously set to release next year and takes place after Halo 5's story, while a pre-layoff blog post said Burn the Road Home is "dropping out of slipspace next year."
