Eternal Strands developer Yellow Brick Games staff report layoffs
Some staff at Eternal Strands and ex-Ubisoft devs Yellow Brick Games report they've been laid off
According to several LinkedIn posts, Yellow Brick Games, the studio behind Eternal Strands, has begun laying off staff to an undisclosed degree. Those posting include senior environment/hard surface artist Derian McCrea, graphics engineer Adam Clapsaddle, software programmer Rebecca Bélanger, QA lead Jessica Chapados Arseneault, and senior level designer Julien Tonsuso. Co-founded in 2020 by original Dragon Age creative Mike Laidlaw and several former Ubisoft developers, the studio self-published Eternal Strands in January 2025 and released a free DLC expansion that April. RPS has contacted Yellow Brick Games for comment.
