Reddit user LTSharp used Claude Opus 5.5 to create a performance mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, cutting stutters from 66 to 11 in a side-by-side comparison. The patch spreads CPU work across more cores, raising utilization from 35-40% to 50-60% with about two extra threads engaged. LTSharp described the effort as two weeks of intense work despite having no software development background, and posted the mod on GitHub.
