Blizzard Teases Familiar Locations for Post-Launch World of Warcraft Forever Updates

World of Warcraft Forever launches on November 4, and Blizzard principal game designer Kris Zierhut said future updates could make brief forays into areas like the Dark Portal, Northrend, and Pandaria for a dungeon or a quest or two before returning to the vanilla continents. He stressed that Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor remain players' home, with no new capital cities, auction houses, or innkeepers outside them. Zierhut also said any visit to Northrend would not be the version seen in Wrath of the Lich King, but could be an extremely hostile level 60 version.
