EA confirms DICE and Respawn are collaborating on a new project amid Star Wars Battlefront 3 rumors

In a letter about EA's future, the publisher confirmed DICE and Respawn will collaborate on a future project meant to grow its shooter portfolio, without naming the project. Rumors earlier this week said the two studios are working on Star Wars: Battlefront 3, and Variety corroborated the claim via sources, though no details on the game or its release were shared. The same letter confirmed EA is canceling the next Mass Effect and shutting down BioWare.
