Nintendo details the Water Temple changes in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake

Nintendo explained in a website interview how it changed the Water Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. The team kept the original dungeon mechanics but placed objects to guide players' direction and turned some disorienting walls into lattice structures that show the rooms beyond. Eiji Aonuma said item toggling is easier in this version and Link can take off his iron boots without pausing to open the equipment menu.
