Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 – Captain Price's Fate Explained

IGN asked developer Infinity Ward whether Captain Price is dead at the end of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's campaign, and narrative director Jeff Negus would only say the scene is "consistent with others" in how character deaths are handled. Across the game's 16 missions, several established characters including Makarov, Gabriela, Graves, and Gaz meet their ends. In the mid-credits scene, Price kills Mads Mikkelsen's The Archer before collapsing, with Ghost arriving to share his final breaths.
