Battlefield 6 Devs Respond After Players Take Aim at 'Secuty' Typo and Cosmetic With 5 Pistols

The Battlefield 6 team responded on its official Discord to two controversial Season 5 cosmetics, confirming the "Secuty" typo on a McNeil skin will be fixed when Season 5 launches in November. The Midnight Mirage skin's five pistol holsters are an intentional creative concept and will remain, the studio said. Both cosmetics were added October 13 and quickly drew fan backlash; the team said it is reviewing internal processes but did not explain how the typo occurred or address generative AI accusations.
