FF14's Evolved jobs won't deal a 'huge amount' more damage than Reborn counterparts, says Koji Fox

Final Fantasy 14's Evolved jobs will deal only slightly more damage overall than their Reborn counterparts, serving as an incentive for players to try them. Koji Fox said he is not on the battle team but is deeply involved in development, and noted that part of the Evolved project aims to make hotkey-heavy jobs less confusing for new players. All new jobs will be designed with Evolved gameplay in mind.
