Xbox forms XP division for film, TV, licensing and theme parks

Xbox announced a new XP business unit focused on transmedia brand extensions, including the Fallout TV series and the Minecraft World theme park. The division will be led by current Mojang Studios president Kayleen Walters, with Reddit chief product officer Maria Angelidou-Smith taking over at Mojang. XP covers four areas: Xbox Pictures for film and TV, Xbox Products for licensing and merchandise, Xbox Partnerships for sponsors and brand partners, and Xbox Places for broadcast, events and theme parks.
