CD Projekt boss pays tribute to BioWare for helping bring The Witcher to life 20 years ago: 'BioWare has been a massive part of CDPR history'
Brief
After BioWare's closure, CD Projekt joint CEO Michał Nowakowski paid tribute on X, calling BioWare a massive part of CDPR history. He traced the relationship to CD Projekt localizing and selling Baldur's Gate in Poland, Czechia and Slovakia, and later to BioWare lending its engine for The Witcher and giving CDPR space at its E3 booth. Translator and localizer Ryszard Chojnowski also shared photos of CD Projekt's corner of BioWare's booth at E3 2004.
