Watch Dogs is 'important' to Ubisoft says Yves Guillemot, but don't expect a new one soon

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said at the company's annual investor meeting in early October that a new Watch Dogs game is not currently in production, though the franchise remains "important" to Ubisoft. He said it is "not expected to be put in a creative house for the moment, before it's potentially remade," though the phrasing may be a translation issue. The last entry, Watch Dogs Legion, released in 2020 with a Metacritic score of 76, lower than the previous two games.
