IGN writer looks back on BioWare's run and calls it the greatest RPG developer ever

IGN's Ryan McCaffrey reflects on BioWare's 31-year history after the studio was bought by a private investment group and shut down. He traces its output from Baldur's Gate and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic through the Mass Effect trilogy and Dragon Age, noting that the announced fifth Mass Effect was canceled with the studio. He argues that despite recent disappointments, BioWare's RPG legacy over such a long span stands unmatched.
