IGN Says a Mass Effect 5 Trailer Was Ready Before EA Closed BioWare

IGN understands that a Mass Effect 5 trailer was ready for release before EA canceled the game and shut down BioWare. EA's staff memo said a small BioWare team had been in early development on Mass Effect and the company decided not to move forward, closing the studio and its Edmonton workspace. Bloomberg reported around 50 staff were working on Mass Effect 5, and 400 jobs will go across EA, about 3% of total staff.
