More Than Launching Games: Funtap Games and the Shifting Role of Vietnam's Local Publishers

Vietnamese publisher Funtap Games is shifting from bringing games to market toward providing a full lifecycle operations system spanning compliance, localization, local payments, marketing and customer service. Founded in 2015, the company says it has released and serviced over 350 products and holds about 6.3 million monthly active users, and it was named Outstanding Game Publisher of the Year at Vietnam Game Awards 2026. In March 2026, Com2uS Holdings announced a strategic partnership with Funtap Games to bring six of its titles to Vietnam.
