Sensor Tower data shows GTA 6 preorders far ahead of recent AAA games

Sensor Tower's analysis shows GTA 6 preorders running 148% ahead of 2022's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at the same point before launch. As of October 13, the firm estimates 6.08 million preorders worth about $594 million, with 74% on PlayStation and 26% on Xbox and most orders for the $100 ultimate edition. The comparison covers only digital preorders in the United States and excludes boxed releases.
