Nexon takes back Blue Archive Japanese server operations from Yostar after five years

Blue Archive's Japanese server announced during an October 25 official stream that operations will move from Yostar to Nexon, ending Yostar's five-plus years running the server. Third-party data puts the Japanese server at over 70 percent of the game's global revenue, and the August summer event version reached Japan's iOS top-grossing Top 3. Yostar said it had discussed the server's future with Nexon for about a year, the official notice said account data will be handled properly, and some Japanese players voiced reluctance to see Yostar go.
