2Awesome Studio on navigating indie development while creating Altered Alma, its biggest project to date: "I wish I had the formula"

2Awesome Studio co-founder Alexander Santiago says Altered Alma, the Barcelona studio's biggest project to date, is nearing completion after raising over €260,000 from more than 5,100 Kickstarter backers against an initial €40,000 goal. He says there is no universal formula for running an indie studio, which has relied on Kickstarter, government funding, loans, publisher support and outsourcing. The team plans a more focused sequel to the open-world Metroidvania.
