Sony Q2 2026 results show 127 million PlayStation monthly active users and 2.4 million Marvel's Wolverine sales
PlayStation sees record high player numbers and increased revenue for Q2 2026, and a lot of that success is down to Marvel's Wolverine
Sony's 5th November 2026 earnings report confirmed 127 million monthly active users across PS4 and PS5 in September, up 7 percent year-on-year and a new high. Game & Network Services revenue rose 9 percent year-on-year and operating profit rose 83 percent, while Marvel's Wolverine sold 2.4 million copies as of 4th November and Ghost of Yotei reached 3.3 million since its October 2025 launch. PS5 hardware sales were 2.6 million for the quarter, down from 4 million a year earlier, and CFO Lin Tao said the PlayStation 6 is progressing as scheduled with solid progress expected in 2027.
