Gears of War: E-Day Hit by DDoS Attack, The Coalition Confirms

Developer The Coalition has confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day suffered a DDoS attack over the weekend, causing intermittent disconnects and login issues for players. The studio said its teams are continuing to monitor and mitigate the activity. The attack comes amid earlier reporting that the Microsoft title sold fewer than 250,000 copies in its first week, with 62,000 on Xbox, while an estimated 1.7 million played via Game Pass.
