As Halo Moves to Activision, Halo Studios Writers Tease What Might Have Been

Following the launch of Halo: Campaign Evolved, Halo Studios published a blog post from franchise writer Alex Wakeford hinting at where Master Chief's story might have gone before Activision took over the Halo series. The post says novels Halo: Fireteam Noble by Troy Denning and Halo: Burn the Road Home by Kenneth Peters are still in the works, though their future is uncertain. It also teases the Xalanyn with concept art, suggesting the now-scrapped next Halo game would have revealed more about the mysterious antagonists.
