Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 Is More Punk Rock Than Blockbuster

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 is again animated by Studio Trigger, with director Kai Ikarashi pushing more abstract shapes and experimental techniques in depicting Night City. Showrunner Bartosz Sztybor said the first season was visually very Michael Bay while the second is more like Martin Scorsese—more indie, more punkish, and more realistic, with violence that feels more shocking even if less over-the-top.
