Nintendo Confirms It Will Continue to Release Physical Games

Nintendo Latin America VP and general manager Bill van Zyll said Nintendo has no plans to abandon physical game releases and will not follow a full shift to digital. The stance comes after PlayStation announced it would soon drop physical versions entirely, sparking industry discussion. Nintendo's Switch 2, launched last year, supports both digital and physical formats, with physical releases split between full cartridges and game download cards.
