Xbox denies acquiring exclusive GTA 6 cloud streaming rights, says it won't come to PC that way
Xbox denies reports it's acquired exclusive GTA 6 game-streaming rights, deflating hopes of playing it on PC
Brief
Xbox has denied reports that it acquired exclusive game-streaming rights for Grand Theft Auto 6. The claim originated from a The Verge report citing an all-hands meeting in which CEO Asha Sharma allegedly said Xbox planned to do something no other platform holder is doing around GTA 6, which the report inferred meant exclusive streaming rights. Xbox chief strategy officer Matthew Ball said on X that the game will not be streaming exclusively or to PC, while confirming GTA 6 launches on Xbox on November 19.
