Xbox's Recent Efforts Haven't Changed Anything and the Future Remains Bleak, Expert Says

Circana analyst Mat Piscatella said none of Xbox CEO Asha Sharma's efforts to turn the business around have worked, and he sees no positive impact from them. He said the disc-to-digital program hasn't changed new physical software sales trends, and making Gears of War: E-Day console-exclusive to Xbox hasn't sold more hardware. He also said removing new Call of Duty games from Game Pass cost the franchise a ton of engagement with no benefit.
