NBA 2K25 servers shut down on December 31, single-player story mode becomes unplayable

NBA 2K25 will be delisted from storefronts on October 30, 2026, with servers shutting down on December 31; multiplayer and online modes end January 1, 2027. 2K said owners can still redownload the game and play offline modes such as Play Now, MyNBA, The W and MyWNBA, while server-dependent MyCareer and MyTeam will be unavailable, with MyCareer being the single-player story mode. NBA 2K25 launched in September 2024, and the shutdown follows 2K's pattern of delisting NBA titles over two years.
