Report says Microsoft may close Arkane Lyon as buyer deadline is extended by a month

French outlet Le Monde reported that Microsoft intends to close Arkane Lyon, and a buyer-search deadline under France's Florange law, originally set for November 13, has been extended by one month. Microsoft told PC Gamer the extension lets it keep exploring options including finding a partner, and said the documents do not represent a final decision. The report says the studio employs 217 people and that Marvel's Blade is still years from completion.
