Arkane union says Xbox is 'sabotaging' Marvel's Blade with a 19-month hiring ban

STJV, the French union representing Arkane workers, accused Xbox of sabotaging Marvel's Blade by barring the studio from hiring for 19 months, which it says artificially caused internal delays. The union said Xbox is considering closing Arkane entirely while also taking bids from potential buyers including Ubisoft, and it is demanding a say in any acquirer and higher redundancy pay. Xbox had not responded to the claims at the time of publication, and the studio's future and the game's fate remain uncertain.
