CD Projekt Red has released The Witcher 3 Remastered patch 5.01 on PS5, delivering performance improvements and fixes for various technical issues. The update adjusts frame rate limits across graphics modes on the base PS5, adds Bloom, Light Shafts, and Depth of Field options to the graphics menu, and fixes settings resetting on every launch. It also addresses gameplay and UI issues, including automatic blade oils, dodge delay, and skill tooltips.
The latest GTA VI leaks show several signs of coming from a development build, including NPCs not reacting to a fully naked Jason, a tank spawning out of nowhere, missing textures and broken animations, and a HUD without controller button prompts. Sony has released another firmware update for the PS Portal, bringing the system software to version 7.3.0 just two weeks after the previous one. The update lets players turn 3D audio on or off during a game via Settings > System > 3D Audio, and reworks search with real-time results and QR code handoff to PlayStation Store on the PlayStation App or a web browser. It also improves system software performance and stability and refines messages and usability on some screens, and is rolling out in phases.

Kalypso Media confirmed that Tropico 7 will launch on Switch 2 and other platforms on 28 January 2027, with the Switch 2 version developed by Engine Software. Flyway Games, a creative studio under KRAFTON, announced that its hand-drawn action adventure Waltz in Stumbles will launch worldwide on December 3, 2026 for Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. MINTROCKET teased a new Diver Dave DLC crossover with Subnautica 2: Alien Waters, planned as a free update in the first half of 2027. Players will explore a sea region called Proteus with Dave and Bancho, gather sea creatures, unlock recipes, and encounter the giant deep-sea creature Leviathan.
