Some Who Paid for WoW Forever Name Reservation Couldn't Reserve Their Name Due to a Weird Bug

After the World of Warcraft Forever beta ended, Blizzard opened character creation so players who bought a Skyborne pack could reserve their names, but many were falsely told their name was on the restricted list. Blizzard fixed the issue, with community manager Kaivax saying a bugged name filter had been overly restrictive, such as blocking names containing "c-o-n." The fix was meant to go live with a server restart, though some players still reported problems reserving names.
