NBA 2K27 Dunks on Resident Evil Requiem to Become the US's Best-Selling Game of 2026

NBA 2K27 has surpassed Resident Evil Requiem to become the best-selling game of 2026 year-to-date in the US. Circana's Mat Piscatella noted that eight of September's top ten best-sellers were new releases, with NBA 2K27 ranking second for the month. Analysts expect Grand Theft Auto 6, launching in November, to take the top spot for 2026.
