Roblox daily active users fall to 138 million as the company bets on generative AI

Roblox reported quarterly daily active users of 138 million, down 9 percent year over year and below the 145 million estimate, with engaged hours at 34 billion, down 15 percent. The company said over 80 percent of its top 100 games last quarter were made with AI tools and plans to invest heavily in generative AI game creation to offset softer demand. CEO David Baszucki told investors that AI is changing the pace at which content can be created.
