The stance, given in a Nikkei interview, follows news months earlier that Crazy Taxi: World Tour used generative AI tools during development, later clarified as limited to the "initial research phase" with no AI assets in the final game. SEGA established a Generative AI Committee last year to oversee the tech's usage across the business.
