Rockstar denies GTA 6 cost $1.5 billion but won't reveal the real number

Rockstar told Bloomberg that GTA 6 did not cost $1.5 billion to make, but it has not disclosed the actual development spend. The game is set for a November release, with preorders reportedly past 5 million copies and more than half a billion dollars, expected to reach 25 million preorders and $2 billion by launch day. Rockstar has not discussed an online multiplayer component for GTA 6, which is rumored to arrive in 2027.
