Studio Daimon said Food Devils, its salacious Fire Emblem-ish game, missed its planned release because Steam has not approved its build, submitted on October 12th and still pending after more than 20 days. The developer assumes Steam's review queue is clogged up by AI slop, and says an urgent ticket sent last week was ignored. Game Discovery Tool found over 50% of games released on Steam in October featured an AI disclosure, while SteamDB data shows releases jumped from a little over 2000 in October 2025 to almost 4000 in October 2026.
