Xbox Seeks Partner to Help Arkane Lyon Finish Marvel's Blade and Extends Buyer Search

Microsoft said it is exploring bringing in a partner to support Arkane Lyon as it finishes Marvel's Blade, and has extended the deadline to find a buyer for the studio by one month. The studio's 217 employees are at risk of losing their jobs, and Microsoft called the extension defined while saying it will keep the Works Council informed. The union wants affected staff redeployed to other Xbox studios if no deal is reached and has not ruled out taking Microsoft to court.
