Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.0 launches February 13 with new world Planarcadia and a Fortnite collaboration

HoYoverse announced during its Special Program that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.0 arrives February 13, adding the new world Planarcadia and two new 5-Star characters, General Yao Guang and Sparxie. Starting February 26, Kafka and Blade skins join the Fortnite Item Shop, and downloading the game on the Epic Games Store and joining themed activities earns the Blade outfit for free. Players who log in after launch get 20 free pulls and a new outfit for Ruan Mei, while the Yao Guang fortune event offers 1,600 Stellar Jades and a free 5-Star character selector arrives later.

Nioh 3 launches and immediately becomes the most played Nioh ever on Steam

Nioh 3 has launched simultaneously on PlayStation and PC, the first time the series has released on PC day-and-date with PlayStation. Within hours of launch, it peaked at 42,822 concurrent players on Steam, surpassing Nioh's 10,649 and Nioh 2's 41,325, and entered Steam's top 20 most played games. It is also currently number one worldwide on Steam's top sellers list, a jump of 46 positions.

Seed Sparkle Lab's life and farming sim Starsand Island enters Early Access on February 11

Seed Sparkle Lab announced that its life and farming sim Starsand Island will enter Early Access on February 11 on Steam and the Xbox Preview Program, with the full launch expected in the summer of this year. The full release will also come to PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2, and will add Steam Deck support and a multiplayer mode that is not available during Early Access. The Early Access build is said to offer about 100 hours of content, with more features arriving over the next six or so months, including a crossover event with My Time At Portia.

Infinity Nikki Version 2.2 Chromatic Beings Everbright Adds Chinese New Year-Themed Content

Infinity Nikki has released its Version 2.2 update, Chromatic Beings Everbright, built around the Chinese New Year-inspired Bloom Festival and a new story chapter set in the Wanxiang Realm. The realm is split into three areas, Cai Ye, Kongming Gorge and Jiuhua Pavilion, and the update adds two 5-Star Resonance Outfits plus the Nefarious Shadows Ability Outfit. Limited-time activities include Hotpot House, Flavor Frenzy and Fortune Mahjong.

The update adds 6 community maps, a Winter 2025 Cosmetic Case with 23 community-contributed items, 3 new taunts, and 20 new Unusual effects, with the event running through January 7th, 2026.
